New Orleans | 3 Days

A three-day New Orleans itinerary designed as a relaxed, food-forward escape, balancing classic institutions with more local, experience-driven moments.

This trip was structured as a short, romantic getaway over Easter weekend, with an emphasis on strong dining, cultural texture, and unstructured time to enjoy the city at a slower pace.

Food played a central role in shaping the itinerary, with reservations secured at established institutions including Galatoire’s, Commander's Palace, and Restaurant Revolution for Easter brunch. Alongside these, more local recommendations were layered in, including lesser-known spots for beignets, allowing for a mix of iconic and more personal experiences.

Rather than focusing on nightlife in the traditional sense, the itinerary leaned into New Orleans’ music culture in a more relaxed way. An evening on Frenchmen Street offered live jazz in a setting that felt lively without being overwhelming, aligning more closely with the clients’ preferences than Bourbon Street.

Experiences were selected to add variety without overloading the schedule. A swamp tour provided a sense of the surrounding landscape, while a Caribbean rum tasting and a voodoo-focused walking tour introduced additional cultural context, grounding the trip in the city’s layered history.

Time for downtime was intentionally preserved throughout, ensuring the itinerary felt restorative rather than overly programmed.
